MOCOM (Museum of Comedy)

Brand Engineering

This project is a collaboration with another student. The Museum of Comedy is a fictional museum located in New York City. It features a vast selection of comedians and commemorates their life and their work. Intended to appeal to all audiences, MOcOM celebrates all comedians regardless of their place in history. The goal was to represent them in a serious way, while remaining true to their character.

The process started by creating an identity that reflected the nature of the museum. Then the visual system for the interior and exterior of the building, the archives of the most influential figures in comedy, and the campaign of the featured exhibition were developed.

This project has earned both Silver and Gold ADDY Awards and was given a President's Choice Award in Ringling College's Best of Ringling Exhibition.
